Coronavirus update - January 2021

Dear customer, 

As the Covid-19 situation constantly evolves across the globewould like to update you on the latest position at Advanced.  Our priority, as always, is the safety and wellbeing of our employees and so we continue to closely follow UK government guidelines, whilst striving to meet our customers needs. 



As the weeks have progressed, we have continually reviewed our production processes to maximise output whilst maintaining a safe working environment, and our capacity has improved as more staff have been able to return to work.  As a result, our output has continuously increased and lead times have reduced to more normal levels.  Whilst we continue to work with a backlog of orders, we are in regular contact with our customers to advise of expected delivery dates. 


Products & ordering process 

We appreciate how important it is for you to receive the products you need, when you need them and to be kept informed of progressTo this end, our sales support and order processing teams are here to help you. Whilst we are still at reduced capacity in this area, our team remains focused on ensuring you get what you need. To help us maximise our efficiencies, it would be extremely helpful if you could give us advance warning of any large, urgent or unusual orders, as this will ensure we are better placed to meet your requirements. 


Sales and customer support 

With social distancing measures still in place, it remains difficult for our external sales managers and support teams to make in-person appointments. However, we have significantly increased our online presence and we hope you have been able to access the support you need via video conferencing, phone and the regular programme of webinars we have been running. As a reminder, you can watch any webinars you may have missed on demand via the events page of our website: 



Although our in-person training is currently on hold, you can now access our five main training modules via a new e-learning programme. Designed and led by our technical support team, each topic area has been broken down into several shorter sessions, so they are easier for you to fit around your schedule. You can view and book a place via your Advanced360 account.  


Technical support 

You can of course continue to access live technical support by phone and e-mailand we have also launched series of ‘How to’ films that provide easy-to-follow, step-by-step answers to the most frequently asked technical support questions. You can find these in your Advanced 360 account too. 


It just remains for me to thank you for your continued support and loyalty throughout the coronavirus outbreak. Your custom and understanding, plus the dedication of our staff in meeting the challenges of Covid-19, are the reasons Im able to provide this positive update.
